Posting in English because Yuletide is, after all, an English language fest, never mind the fact that three of the stories listed below are in German. *g*

So, er, yes, I participated in Yuletide this year. After hoping for more German fandoms in the mix year after year, it seemed like a good idea. *g* My Yuletide gift was a lovely Winnetou fic about Nscho-tschi:

Poetry in Motion (1147 words) by faviconliz_mo

Many thanks, [livejournal.com profile] liz_mo!

And I also received a treat! Liz remembered an anniversary that really shouldn't have passed unremarked:

Jahrestag (258 words) by faviconliz_mo
Fandom: Perry Rhodan - Various Authors
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Perry Rhodan, Atlan da Gonozal
Summary: Perry ist eingefallen, dass ein besonderer Tag ist.

The story I myself wrote is a science fiction fairy tale:

The Silver Ship, or, The Wolf's Quest (2604 words) by faviconErmigoa
Fandom: Fairy Tales & Related Fandoms, Original Work
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Princess/Wolf
Characters: Princess (Fairy Tales), Wolf (Fairy Tales), Sisters (Fairy Tales)
Summary: "The Silver Ship" is one of the most popular fairy tales on the Stations. This version is from Chandoval's famous collection, Fairy Tales of Mother Earth, first published in the year 73 A.C.S. on Sigma Station. It begins as all fairy tales do: "Once upon a time, when the Earth was still solid beneath our feet and the stars were distant and strange ..."

And I managed a small Perry Rhodan treat too:

Albtraum (672 words) by faviconErmigoa
Fandom: Perry Rhodan - Various Authors
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply

(Apologies for being so silent here! Alas, my 2011 New Year's resolution to post more didn't come to anything, so keep your fingers crossed for next year.)
